Bearwindows also moved his site about 1~2 months ago from geocities to the boot land server: http://bearwindows.b...d.net/os2be.htm
Bearwindows talent is well demonstrated once you dig into learning what the available software does.

Never used OS2, but it Looks like a cross between Win3.1 and windows apps.
Might be where Windows got some of its direction for Windows95. lol!
Well, NO.
OS/2 was the result from the fork between IBM and MS.
The project was intended to replace DOS+Windows 3.x.
It gave birth, after the split to TWO Operating Systems:
IBM OS/2
MS Windows NT 3.x
IBM OS/2 came out a bit before NT, but as often happens, it did not have the success it deserved, as it was a VERY good OSm very, very stable.
In a partition table the HPFS filesystem (used by OS/2 besides FAT) is identufied by hex 07.
In a partition table the NTFS filesystem (used by NT besides FAT) is identified by hex 07.
Several versions of MS-DOS FDISK and third party HD utilities dating back to the 90's indentify 07 partitions as HPFS.
Start to see a pattern?

An interesting Live CD for OS/2 fans (Warp, eCommStation) :

I've been trying to download that CD for some time. First, bearwindows' email address linked at the bottom of that page seems to have gone with the wind (I get bounces from operamail).
And second, the download URL (rapidshare) linked, even after hxxp is fixed to http, leads to a rapidhsare page that says the file has been deleted due to inactivity...
:-(
Could someone tell bearwindows to update his email address, and also to re-upload to other hosts like megaupload?.
TIA

Unfortunately, I do not know any other address. You might however consider to send him a personal message from here in the forum since he is also a member at reboot.pro
