Interesting enough one of the teams at Google released an aforementioned tool to automate Windows installation.

Why Glazier?

Glazier was created with certain principles in mind.

Text-based & Code-driven

With Glazier, imaging is configured entirely via text files. This allows technicians to leverage source control systems to maintain and develop their imaging platform. By keeping imaging configs in source control, we gain peer review, change history, rollback/forward, and all the other benefits normally reserved for writing code.

Reuse and templating allows for config sharing across multiple image types.

Configs can be consumed by unit tests, build simulators, and other helper infrastructure to build a robust, automated imaging pipeline.

Source controlled text makes it easy to integrate configs across multiple branches, making it easy to QA new changes before releasing them to the general population.

There aren't many instructions on how to get started, but something can be read at https://github.com/g.../setup/index.md

I'm still not understanding very well the mechanics of how it works. If someone can help with feedback the tool is indeed useful (or not), I would be grateful.

Google releases a tool to automate Windows installs on multiple platforms? Wow, really? I mean, why bother? Isn't Microshaft like, you know, Google's competitor and archnemesis (of course)? It would be like M$ doting on the benefits of using Linux. Or a Christian worshipping Satan. I dont see a reason to bother releasing anything that even remotely makes use of an enemy's creations.

Or maybe Microsoft and Google are colluding with each other in an economic sense, pretending to hate each other all these years, but secretly cooperating in an attempt to create a collective monopoly, for power and profit. It happens in the business world all the time, and sometimes happens to be a violation of monopoly laws in many nations.

They might be configuring Windows exactly for the reasons you mention. Business relations are not emotional relations, both corporations care about growing their business (and money). Today you are at fight with eurasia, tomorrow they are your allies.

I get the reason - thanks to this site i have built something similar to serve by needs.

Not entirely sure how this works mind, what is the boot method to deploy the image?

I have no idea either. Seems to be magic whatever they are using.
