I nicely propose on this (great) board that all members W/O their flags in their profile views (for any reason this has been) place them in their places as soon as possible...

As far as I remember, since the very beginning of this forum there has never been an confrontation between e.g. Israelian and Palestine or Greek and Turkish people, just to tell two examples.

But there has been a confrontation between a Yugoslav and a Albanian just not on a hostile but a rather peaceful way

I think this issue is now solved and wasn't needed to add any gif image.

I've added a new field on the first position with the value

<none>=

This results in a invalid variable string when this code is used:

<br><img src=&#39;http&#58;//boot-land.net/forums/flags/{key}.gif&#39;><br>{key}

It works because there is no flag image called "http://boot-land.net...ums/flags/.gif" and the value {key} is the same as ""

All members can keep their country information private.

Personal CP --> Edit Profile Information --> Country --> Select the first box (empty)

I don't have flag because Yugoslavia is not a country...

There is no flag image called:

Serbia


and

Montenegro

Hi folks ,

The flag is not representative for me, and it should take away the neutral spirit of a free thought.
In a forum I can express my ideas without ideologic barrier and a flag is as a wall.
I am interested in your ideas not in your nationality.
And ideas have not nationality.
Internet have not nationality, and I like it so...

I like the way the way this Guy/Gal ticks.
I am also NOT patriotic or indeed nationalistic, this could start a revolution, women burn't their Bra's (Which incidently I totally agreed with for all the depraved reasons going ), Boot-Land members are burning their flags or de-Pixilate them (If of course they want to).
Historically speaking I think my collective nation has a lot to answer for so please don't judge me by a flag!

Anyway how do you get rid of the flag preferably, the EASY WAY cuz as an individual anti-patriotic person I'm not the sharpest tewl in the box LOL!

ispy, certainly that everyone has the right to select or omit the flag if they wish.

Personally I like meeting people from other countries and cultures. It's one of the main reasons why I like to get online in the first place.

Click on "My Controls" --> "Edit Profile Information" to modify your country settings, select the topmost option that is blank to remove the flag.

Other flags can also be added like a pirates flag, a star trek federation flag or whatever people request within respectable limits and reasons of course..
