What does your usb stick contain? Please note that "everything" can't be made bootable by integrating a boot sector with it.

The boot of USB is too different of boot of ISO. There isn't a tools for convert USB to ISO. If you convert one USB to cd/dvd they works? There isn't a tools for convert USB to ISO. If you convert one USB in cd/dvd it works? Depends on what you have to convert but is very likely to have errors (even if you can make bootable ISO).

Karan, first make yourself clear about what you want to achieve. davidecosta & I interpreted your query in two different ways. But, unfortunately none of them was what you intended to ask originally. First time you were asking for some method to convert the contents of an USB stick to a bootable ISO. Without clarifying the situation further, suddenly you switched to the topic of setting up Grub on a CD. Be specific, please. Unless it'd be troublesome for anyone to reply to your query.

However, welcome to the community.

BOTH will do my work..
BUT USB to CD/ISO is preferable.. :crazyrocker:

See, your objective is still hazy. But, if you want to get to Grub commandline by booting from a CD/DVD, then burn any linux distro on the media, boot from it until you reach to the Grub menu. Then press 'e' (edit mode) to get to the commandline.

Then press 'e' (edit mode) to get to the commandline.

Last time I checked "e" led to "edit mode" and "c" to "command line" :whistling:

I apologise, my mistake. But rest assured, it's still the same, no matter the "last time" refers to how many days/weeks/months/years back. Posted Image
