Many times before, at least in the time of the 'old' server, I saw the full list.
Unfortunatelly I do not remember whether after server upgrade i also have seen the full list.

14km is an acceptable distance. We should also test from inside a Windows PE just to make sure..@Nuno: stupid question - I know: did you also try it with a new created 'dummy' account?
BTW: the PC here is 14km away from my home PC's with the same things...
I remembered that exists a bug tracker for IP.Downloads back at the invisionpower site (where this software is developed) and found some interesting things:
http://community.inv...issing-listing/
http://community.inv...pboard-330-r736
Apparently it has a code fix. Will try to find some time for applying this patch later tonight or tomorrow.
These seem like good news. No need to submit further reports for now.
Tomorrow we can (hopefully) resume the test, if you are using more than one machine at the same time then I recommend to keep them at a safe distance of at least 8 meters to prevent any electromagnetic interference from messing our laboratory results.

I looked into the proposed patches, but then I got an unanswered question:
What causes the different $Res for me, 2aCD, Holmes32 etc. compared to you and Linuxbaby?
$res must be once true, and in the other case false.
Are there reboot.pro members of "first" and "second" class (just kidding)?
@Nuno, you are the only one who could have an idea. And it may be helpful for future issues when you find the difference in the data base.

Hi Peter, my idea is following the discussion forum where this product is developed. Right now I have no further time to dedicate on this matter as other priorities need to be attended.@Nuno, you are the only one who could have an idea. And it may be helpful for future issues when you find the difference in the data base.

With, when downloading :
Bandwidth Limit Exceeded The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.
And now,
Sorry, we couldn't find that! Sorry, we could not locate the page you are requesting to view. Please click here to return to the community index

I'm really not happy about this. An upgrade should never cause these kind of troubles to the community, my apologies for the current state.

However, this required the costs of reacquiring a license for the most recent version of IP.Downloads. Somehow I get the feeling that this as low as a company can get to force customers renewing a license for things that were otherwise working well on their own..

This is highly unethical as this is a fault in their part. However, this required the costs of reacquiring a license for the most recent version of IP.Downloads. But what this company does it's not moral. One should read the licence that comes with this software or module, even the small letters.
And if an older version has a vulnerability, you need to renew the licence to get the new "patched" version while the old one would remain still vulnerable?
And if the upgrade caused this, how often is IPB releasing new versions?

Even Nexus is broken, some times we can see the details of hosting packages and some times we can't in a perfectly random manner. I also renewed the license for Nexus, waiting for the authorization before downloading/uploading the new version to the forum and see if this issue gets addressed. If a vulnerability is discovered, you have to renew the license and I think that is fair.
What is not fair is that after an upgrade to the forum, the downloads and store portals get broken even thought they are supposed to be independent.
I'm really disappointed with IPB. I'm even afraid of upgrading with the fear of whatever else gets broken. However we are forced to upgrade or it will just hurt more when the gap between version upgrades gets bigger. Crap.
