While I know you are busy working on the guts of this thing, For the money, I wanted to come up with a way to protect it while in use.

I took an old USB VGA adapter that was broken and gutted it. Then used velcro and a 2ft USB extention cable. My ISO stick is protected and the switch still able to operate. I just kept thinking that some dope is gonna knock into it or take it by mistake, I had to make this thing. So far, I like it, WONT loose it and it is very protected and vented.

You guys should offer an open for some sort of case like this!

BTW, you cant see it in the pix, but the case is translucent as well, so I still see the light blinking!

By the way.... I dont have buyers remorse. I use this EVERY day and I am so happy your project took off and only wish I heard about it while it was still in need of support. I built two myself out of Sandisk 'U3' 4GB sticks which don't work on A LOT of different model computers. They usually just wont see the CD drive in BIOS. Yours so far, I have tested and has worked on:

Lenovo Laptops R61, R400, T410, T420, L412

and

Lenovo Desktops M55, M57, M58, M81 and M82

JSYK Primarily use for either Pointsec recovery, MDT deployment or HDD forensics. Speed is great. Just gotta customize the boot menu!

Do you have any suggestions for boosting the booting speed of the main menu screen ?

Reducing the total number of files on the card will make it go faster. Other than that there isn't much that can be done without modifying the code. That said, I am working on optimizing it  :good:
