Naah.Just a suggestion to update the first post with newer versions as it gets updated. Easier than searching through the thread for the latest version. Thanks
It is done on purpose.
Compare with this one :
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=2362
(where the info IS actually written on first post)
With the actual results:
http://www.boot-land...?...=2362&st=11
http://www.boot-land...?...=2362&st=26
http://www.boot-land...?...=2362&st=30
http://www.boot-land...?...=2362&st=31
Check the number of current downloads of the old, either "botched" or incomplete versions....
People have no time to read, clicking is easier....

OK, please find attached an ALPHA version of the MKIMG comand.
Other utilities you will need (besides MBRBATCH.CMD and the utilities it already requires):
mksparse:
<a href="http://www.acc.umu.se/~bosse/" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.acc.umu.se/~bosse/" target="_blank">http://www.acc.umu.se/~bosse/</a></a>
fsz from the DSFOK package:
<a href="http://members.ozema...ezip/freeware/" target="_blank"><a href="http://members.ozema...ezip/freeware/" target="_blank">http://members.ozemail.com.au/~nulifetv/freezip/freeware/</a></a>
Can't find the above two utilities neither at their specified location, nor by googling. Any ideas?

Your google-fu is low , my young padawan.
First question:
Do you think that the "DSFOK package" cited here:
is in ANY way different from the "DSFOK package" cited here?:OK, please find attached an ALPHA version of the MKIMG comand.
....
fsz from the DSFOK package:
http://members.ozema...eezip/freeware/
Ok, peeps, here is the ALPHA 0.01 Release of MBRBatch.cmd.
You will need an awful lot of command line utilities to go with it (and even more when the missing features will be added), for now:
dsfo/dsfi from the DSFOK package:
http://members.ozema...eezip/freeware/
and that CAN be found allright on the given page?
Direct link:
http://members.ozema...eware/dsfok.zip
Second question:
WHY would have jaclaz posted this :
http://www.boot-land...?...=3191&st=42
attaching a copy of mksparse?
You are new to the Board , and all that, but you need to take some more time reading BEFORE asking questions ALREADY answered....
...the amount of your free spoon-feeding vouchers is lessening dramatically....

Your google-fu is low , my young padawan.
You are new to the Board , and all that, but you need to take some more time reading BEFORE asking questions ALREADY answered....
1) what is google-fu?
2) I surf by an internet connection which is worse than 56K connections. I need almost half an hour to upload 3 images and make a post with the links obtained, believe me or not. So, under this condition, exhaustive searching is impossible for me.
3)
couldn't understand. Plz explain me in simple words...the amount of your free spoon-feeding vouchers is lessening dramatically....

Yep .
You need to get used of some of the jargon:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jargon
google-fu:
http://www.urbandict...?term=google-fu
padawan:
http://www.boot-land...?...c=1000&st=7
voucher:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voucher
spoon feeding:
http://www.mp3car.co...on-feeding.html
In (hopefully ) simple words:
It is perfectly normal that a newcomer to the board and to the booting world (apprentice or padawan) is initially allowed to ask even very simple questions and that someone answers them providing very simplified replies, even to questions that the newcomer could have answered himself with a litlle of effort (spoon-feeding), but the general idea of the Community is to help newcomers in quickly developing their own skills, experience and knowledge, improving their capabilities (as an example stronger google-fu) and more generally being able to learn things directly instead of being teached them.
If you find out yourself something by reading what is already available and experimenting it, this thing you will never (or rarely) forget, anything that was simply told you is more likely to be misunderstood, forgotten or simply NOT "received".
Thus the number of spoon-feeding vouchers (times you can ask questions that you could answer yourself) is limited, meaning as a - rest assured friendly - invite towards trying to develop more perseverance in finding the answers to your questions yourself.

Actually, as seen from here, it seems like Holmes.Sherlock did not make any mistake (till now ).
Now the situation of Lama does look different....

Wonko, please. If u can't write in simple words, then please refrain from answering. U can't take simple things in simple way & some way or the other, u end up in taunting me. A newbie shouldn't get such "warm" a welcome.

In a nutshell:
- Lama replied jokingly
- I replied him as well jokingly
(compare with Rule #12):
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=9101
Unfortunately jokes are not at all fun if you have to explain them, they are something that either are caught on-the-fly or they loose any humour.
The main thing is that you didn't do any mistake!
