Hi Wendy!
Very interesting screenshot.
Is it possible to run Win32 apps inside this symbian NT/OS2 machine?

It is essentially Windows NT 3.51 running Workplace Shell for Windows.
You can indeed run Windows NT apps in it. It's just OS/2 apps that you can't run.
It's not a good trick to try.
The install of WPSWin expects to find control.ini, so i created one with just one line '[Color Schemes]'. Install then runs to completion.
The default desktop is blank. Lots of stuff gets hidden by the background. So you have to use the right-click menu (the grey thing on the extreme left of the shot), to "find" things. So you find things like 'write', 'winfile', etc. The folders are normally with default colors, but as with OS/2 you can set each folder to a different colour or wallpaper. This is what i did with these three (to honey, zigzag and marble).
The bottom right one is a folder of control panel icons, with different OS2 icons. It shows normally as an icon-view, but I rearranged it to do a list view (which does a table).
I suppose since this is open source now, someone might port it to winnt 3.x in much the same way that calmira has.
