G'day,

my XBOOT is booting fine from 500 GB WD Elements USB 3.0.

Menu is also coming up.

BUT: when starting one of the ISOs on HDD, ERROR 25: Disk read error appears.

Test with QEMU works, though, so it's probably not an ISO-failure!

Also copying ISO-file to root is not helpful.

All working without probs with identical files from USB-stick.

Any idea??

TXH!

Probably the BIOS on the System you are using has the 137GB HDD access bug/limit.

The ISO may be past 137GB.

In grub4dos command shell (press c in grub4dos menu) - type

blocklist /<path>/xxxx.iso

put in the path and name of the ISO that is causing problems.

It should report the start sector and number of sectors in each contiguous cluster - e.g. x+y

Add the two together - is the number bigger than 147102629888?
