WinBuilder 0.80 font viewing problem

What has happened is that I have recently bought a Dell 30 inch monitor and although I have customised Windows 7 x86 Ultimate's desktop icons and text to be larger, I cannot find anyway of adjusting the menu fonts within WinBuilder.
WinBuilder 's fonts size on this screen is very small.
Is there any way of increasing the font size of WinBuilder itself..?
TIA.

BobxT.

I am having a font viewing problem.
WinBuilder 's fonts size on this screen is very small.
This is probably not the solution you’re looking for, but you can do this, while running the LiveXPe: Right Click on desktop -> Properties -> Appearance -> Font size -> Choose “Extra Large”

I am running Win7 Ult x86 and I tried this, and it does not work.
When I do choose extra large font size, Win7 won't apply the settings until I log of/reboot. This of course, forces WinBuilder to close.
Changing the font settings item by item also does not change the font size of WinBuilder.
Looks like I have to wait until whoever programs WinBuilder, gets around to making the font size readable.
Does anyone know how high on the priority list this sort of bug is.?
Is there a roadmap somewhere here on BootLand.?
Thanks,
BobxT.

"while running the LiveXPe: Right Click on desktop -> Properties -> Appearance -> Font size -> Choose “Extra Large""
Not while running your Win7 host!

There has never been a publically available priority list.Does anyone know how high on the priority list this sort of bug is.?

Currently, winbuilder.exe development for the public is halted. winbuilder.exe is being privately developed for the nativeEx_PEEasy project, but such versions are currently crippled for other projects. This state may change in the future, we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't worry about priorities for the moment, I ensure that bugs reported here are solved as soon as possible.Does anyone know how high on the priority list this sort of bug is.?
Can we see a screenshot of your desktop to get an idea of the problem?
What is the resolution that you are using?
The next steps on the road are being considered as we speak, in the meanwhile, reported defects will be taken into account as usual. Is there a roadmap somewhere here on BootLand.?
There is a development plan here:
http://www.boot-land...showtopic=10500
It is going to be followed across 2011. You are welcome to join us during the alpha testings to see if the font size gets well handled as intended. Otherwise without your feedback it might become difficult as few people around here experience the same nuisance.

Translated from diplomatese:The next steps on the road are being considered as we speak, in the meanwhile, reported defects will be taken into account as usual.
NO, there is NOT a roadmap right now (and there has NEVER been one in the past, and it is UNLIKELY there will EVER be one in the future).

There are goals to be achieved and defects to be addressed.NO, there is NOT a roadmap right now (and there has NEVER been one in the past, and it is UNLIKELY there will EVER be one in the future).
Complain all you want that I'll just keep working forward until I'm happy with the result.

When I feel beeing motivated to continue WinBuilder development, this can be an important item on the ToDo list.
Just to explain to BobxT: I'm the developer of WinBuilder since some years.
CorrectCurrently, winbuilder.exe development for the public is halted.
The project name is nativeEx_easyPE!winbuilder.exe is being privately developed for the nativeEx_PEEasy project
What do you thing when I speak about "XPLive"
Correctbut such versions are currently crippled for other projects.
Currently I'm also waiting and see whether there comes any reason to continue development for the public. This state may change in the future, we'll just have to wait and see.

Sure , and you know how much I do appreciate your work and achievings.
Only they are done (at least till now) "as needed" or "as necessary" or "as fancied" and NEVER "as planned".
This may be "right" or "wrong", it doesn't matter, point is that the question was:
and the answer to it is NO.Is there a roadmap somewhere here on BootLand.?
We do have the (lousy IMHO) development plan you pointed to that noone commented, let alone followed since it's "release" and however that one is completely unlike a "roadmap".
A roadmap details (or should detail):
- WHAT will be done.
- (optionally WHY it needs to be done)
- WHEN it will be done.
- WHO will do it (or at least should do it)
We don't have any of the above, mind you that, again, a roadmap is not necessarily a good or a bad thing, but we don't have it.

Sorry for the mistake, I just copied and pasted the name from here and removed the '_X' part: http://nativeex.exec-se.de/The project name is nativeEx_easyPE!
What do you thing when I speak about "XPLive"
But in several weeks you can see here new projects "nativeEx_X_PEEasy" and "nativeEx_7_PEEasy".
