HI people!:-)...im trying to write a script for Daemon tools lite 4.41.3,I have the script done except for a problem with the SCSI driver. I need to install the driver WITHOUT having to reboot after installing the SCSI driver,so DT is simply ready to go on boot up.currently daemon tools requires that you reboot after the SCSI installs......no good for pe...I have tried the standalone .exe version of the driver install, and also the one that i extracted from Daemon tools lite, however they both need a reboot after installing(they are the same .exe file).should i simply pluck a copy of the driver folder from the file repository on my local install?or is there a few things im missing here?Any ideas on a method would be recieved with great thanks.Im using Win7PE_SE.:-)...thefuse

Hi thefuse

I love DT and have used it for years to play most all my games from image files.
No CD swapping is wonderful. I have well over 50 games installed, so you can imagine what
a pain all those CD's could pose.

You did not mention if your script was adding the needed registry entries for DT to work properly.
With the limited descriptions in your post all I can offer in the way of help is this http://reboot.pro/14094/

If you want to post your script, I could take a look at it.

I'm still patiently waiting for FerrariGuy to post his ScriptDeveloper.script http://reboot.pro/15386/
which could help tremendously with problems just like this.

I'm rootin' for you FerrariGuy

BTW thefuse, thanks for your Winutilities.script

Hello royM!!....the script is here http://thefuse.winbu...oolsLite.script its a fairly simple script that uses a licensed install..the problem is that the CSCI driver is ony added when you first run it.its a standalone file but i want it to be all done and ready because it requires a reboot to take effect(kinda useless when dealing in PE).im thinking of just capturing the install the packaging the changes, however id like to find an easier solution....any tips would be awesome,thanks:-)
