Hi,

This is just for info.I have a Kingston 8GB class 4 SDHC card.  When I try to write to the card under windows 7 or linux the device dissappears.  In linux the dmesg output is:

The iso stick is brand new with the latest firmware. Writes work with a 1GB micro SD card and I've seen one ISO file load.  I have a class 10 32GB card coming this week so hopefully it will work better with that.

Chris

Hmm, is there anything I can type in to this terminal that will help you debug this?

Well, my 32GB card (sandisk) came and it works great.  Haven't tried booting it from it yet though.

Glad to hear the 32GB card is working, and thanks for the information about the Kingston 8GB card.

Do you have a microSD card reader that can access the Kingston 8GB card without using isostick, to test whether the card or the isostick is at fault?

The 8GB card works fine in a microSD card reader.
