hello. i came here because i needed help getting rid of grub4dos. these are the events that led up to my problem:
i tried running a program i downloaded (my kaspersky scans showed that the exe and all related files were clean. kaspersky was wrong.) then, my computer stalled and became extremly laggy. kaspersky reported infection in my temp files.
parts of the kaspersky GUI where not responsive. mouseover and clicking on the tools i needed were not responsive, however i was i able to move back and forth between pages. by now kaspersky had started an "advanced disinfection", and reported that it detected an infection in temp
folder. as usual, the infected file didnt exist at the specified location.
the "advanced disinfection" finished.
pc then began to reboot.
now it is booting into "grub4dos".
how do i get it to boot into windows normally?
thanks in advance
jenson
