Now in my test I pressed:

cancel for babylon toolbar, one msgbox is appeared and I pressed skip, after I pressed two times decline for others toolbar...and...the SARDU works fine without toolbar

I have NO "Cancel"! I have NOTHING!

Come back tomorrow, I will make a video of what happens here, and somehow find a way to post it, so that you can see what happens with your own eyes.

Wonko

My two cents.

Been following and using SARDU for a very long time now.
I really like the new version. it's great....

That being said, the new installer version is very misleading.

People are conditioned by these installers to hit "next" Next" Next" "Accept" Accept"

I am self aware of this and declined anything that didnt say SARDU on it and everything installed just fine without any extra software.

Davide, please. please. PLEASE go back to the way SARDU was built and founded upon...being a completely portable program.

I recently installed SARDINE 2.0.6.5 and, despite paying attention to the installer opt-in/out prompts, I was "blessed" with Toolbar.Snap.do

http://www.safer-net.../about/updates/

I rarely install anything that comes bundled with crapware, but in this case I wasn't even offered the choice.

I'm not real fond of this outcome, but I am pleased that it is mostly harmless.

The first thing I tried was to uninstall via the control panel .... all that did was offer to "hide" or "disable" it for other browsers.

What it actually did is install the search engine links and toolbar to other browsers.

There are some decent removal guides available on other sites, but I shouldn't have had to resort to any sort of malware cleaning procedure.

SARDU itself is fine,.... but you really should reconsider bundling craplets with your software.... especially since there is no way I would have installed a damned useless and invasive toolbar without knowing about it.
