Team Reboot participated in RWTH CTF 2011 on September 30, 2011. It was a typical, conventional CTF challenge where participants had to set up their own VPN network to connect to the CTF site. The duration of this CTF was for 11 hours. Participants were distributed a Virtual Box image of a vulnerable 64 bit Unix OS having certain services running. The challenge was to make the Unix box available to the rivals & let them penetrate into it. A CTF service would time to time check whether every team has their vulnerable services up & running. Point was credited in accordance with the uptime of the team's vulnerable system. We were not prepared for this pattern of challenge. Besides, we didn't have a VT-X enabled host to run the 64 bit image on. So, this neither we could play the game , nor we could score any points.
