Saw a tiktok where someone took old grandparents wall picture and animated them.

Then showed the results to the parents and they teared up.

They probably use the apple store app.

Some else mentioned a website.

https://tokkingheads.com

and the results are not bad

Goddamit, I want this as a GIF right now so I can use it as my avatar!

PS: My avatar is Nicholas Cage from the movie "Raising Arizona". It's about the hilarious adventures of a guy who is always getting into trouble. Kind of reminds me of myself in my late teens/early to mid twenties. Back then I was always in trouble with the police. I haven't been arrested in quite awhile though.

It doesnt work. I can set the GIF as my avatar, but it's not animated. This forum probably doesnt support that.

It looks like reboot.pro probably does accept GIF. But i havent managed to get the image resized down to 100kb (the max size this forum allows). Hence why my avatar is empty right now.

Unfortunately, none of those are small enough to meet reboot.pro's avatar size requirements.

No, still too big, they are way over 500kb. (up to 100kb is allowed). The forum isnt rejecting the GIFs because of their format, it's rejecting them because they're too big.

Looks like GIFs work fine now, so yeah, it was the size. I would love to have the original image though. I doubt it's possible, since a GIF is like a very short animated "movie". They logically will be bigger than a still image.
