Terima kasih

Perbarui v.1.1.2a (2017/04/09) 16 MB

Two days ago I was a disaster.

my old hdd which I use to store my project, there is a failure when the process of migrating to a new SSD, so that the source code versions 0.8.0 - 1.1.1 is not completely saved.

it was due to the negligence of my delay to dropbox storage.

for that I rewrite it to the current release.
please input and advice if found to be the case as well as bugs.

thank you

I encountered an error after my storage destruction.

In version 1.1.2a there are bugs that when finished split WIM into SWM, and create ISO file, the script does not run and will close itself ..

This happens only special ISO files instead of PATH

Has Split_winISo been tested on a Windows 7 system?

Does anything extra need to be installed?

Trying Split WinISO on Windows 7 64-bit. All seems ok up to clicking on the convert button and nothing happens.  I click on the view button and see Error: 3 the system cannot find the path specified.  Any Ideas?

Has Split_winISo been tested on a Windows 7 system?

Does anything extra need to be installed?

Split_winISo I have tested on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. (x86 or x64) All running normally

And does not require any additional except imDISK only

Trying Split WinISO on Windows 7 64-bit. All seems ok up to clicking on the convert button and nothing happens.  I click on the view button and see Error: 3 the system cannot find the path specified.  Any Ideas?

Try Folders where your iso or extract folder do not use spaces

Probably only works with Win8/10 DISM?

For now, I'm still using version 10.0.14393.0 DISM (16/07/2016).
have not used the new version, because it has not been tested yet

Moved the ISO to C:\Temp and renamed it Win2016.ISO and Split WinISO v1.1.3.exe is in the same directory.  Using Imdisk 2.0.9.  Same thing happens.  Ran dism /Get-MountedWimInfo while ISO mounted as U: in ImDisk and got:

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 6.1.7600.16385

Mounted images:

No mounted images found.

The operation completed successfully.

I do not understand why your version of dism version: 6.1.7600.16385
While Split WinISO uses version 10.0.14393.0 DISM (16/07/2016)

Now try:
1. Clean folder / file in C:\Users\user administrator\AppData\Local\Temp
2. Place the ISO in a folder with a folder name without spaces
3. Split Win ISO run with administrator access or right-click run administrator

Note:
Split WinISO does not need to be in one folder with ISO but if you want to make imgPTN file must be placed in one folder MPI tool Pack (easy2boot)

If it still fails, maybe your ISO file or OS system is problematic.
Right now I'm also running Split WInISO on a windows7 64 bit machine, everything is normal and not problematic

OK.  Here's where I'm at, still no go with the steps above.  So all I did was go to a Win10 machine and did the same steps in the same locations but on a Win10 machine and all worked.  Is there a way to get DISM v10 on a windows 7 pc to see if that is the issue?

Split WinISO basically I build using windows7 64 bit machine with the assumption will be able to competible and support with windows 7-10.

And so far there are no obstacles. Users in my country especially my little store client no one is having trouble either windows 7 or 8 and 10 in terms of DISM.

I will try to fix it if there are constraints on DISM v10.

Thanks for the input and bug discovery.

Currently under monitoring.

Please note that when I finished compiling WinISO Split I always test it with 3 machines with different OS (7-10)

Hi, there seems to be an issue when using a user account with the user folder in the format 'C:\Users\user.MACHINE\' .

I have just started using this program, and get the following error on my user account that is 'C:\Users\rhunt.NINJA\' but it works fine on another user account on the same PC without the '.NINJA' in the folder path.

wim2swm_zpst1cvr6fh.png

It seems to have trouble with the folder, referring to it as 'RHUNT~1.NIN', then 'RHUNT~12.NIN'

Many thanks for the useful program, I hope you can fix it to work on my main user account.

It seems to have trouble with the folder, referring to it as 'RHUNT~1.NIN', then 'RHUNT~12.NIN'

Those seem a lot like the 8.3 (DOS compatible) names.

Most probably there is somewhere in the script(s) a DIR function (or similar) that lists the path in that way.

However I don't see any actual *reason* to have the SWM to be split residing in the "temp" folder inside an user profile, is there really a *need* for that? (as opposed to using - say - C:\myfolder\sources\instll.swm ?)  :dubbio:

HI. I try to slipt ad win10 iso image (that contain ERD) in 2 files of 3GB and that transform the 2 split files in a split imgPTN file to boot it with easy2boot.

Now I use version 1.1.3 . All seems to work well but after transform the iso image in a wim image there in no split files and the software goes in a loop with the gray circle always running ( also 3-4 hours) with no file generated.

I need to know where the software write the WIM files and then where the software write the splitted file (the diectory , ndr) so I try to find it.

Also afers various win serch I found in C:\ temporary folder the WIM file not splitted, but after a while it was deleted and no file are generated .

Can you help me ?

edit :

I found the big WIM file of about 4GB ( in temporary win Folder) and then 2 little boot.wim file, same dimension 330MB (they don't grow) in 2 temporary win folders (not the same one). But another time no imgPTN files .....

After a while this Wim file was deleted .

It is not uncommon for DISM, etc. to 'throw a wobbly'.

How many times did you try this?

Did you reboot your system and try again?

Is there plenty of free space on C:?

Hi, thank for the ansewer.

My c:\ disk is half free ( SSD 840pro - 256GB - about 130GB free ).

I tryed four time from yesterday. Same every time.

I reboot the pc this morning. same after rebbot.

Maybe can be some problem with install the software in other disk  (non C:\)?

I install all the software in my E:\Programs\ *.* (another Hard-Disk)

The iso is inthe same disk E:\Jdownloader\*.*

Maybe antivirus , anti-malware is causing a problem?

or corrupt ISO - You could try extracting the ISO to a new folder first using 7zip and then use Split WinISO with the folder as the source?

 Understand.

I disable Kaspersky and exctract the file from the ISo with 7zip.

7z say my that the iso is correct.

Now I try.

edit:

I try as you say me, but no imgPTN file was generated. I see only the WIM file. After a while the WIM file was deleted. App always running. I stop it with
