Preferably a *.dsk and the grub 4 dos entry's for my VITAPE (DVD)
I went true the tutorials to make it, and i was confused that my head poped!!

Thare are so many different ways to make a RC ramdisk
if you cant give me a link to the .dsk can you point me to a tutorial for dummies(very easy)?

Thanx a ton for all you awesome ppl here at reboot.pro

Ok i downloaded http://vlaurie.com/c..._console_cd.zip
and made a XPRC.iso
then when i boot whit grub4dos

title XP Recovery Console

find --set-root /ERDIMG/XPRC.iso

map /ERDIMG/XPRC.iso (0xff)

map --hook

chainloader (0xff)

or

title XP Recovery Console

find --set-root /ERDIMG/XPRC.iso

map /ERDIMG/XPRC.iso (hd32)

map --hook

chainloader (hd32)

the console loads but BSOD as soon as windows loads...
WTF?

i also tryed making a *.dsk from the *.iso
but when it loads it says "cannot find ntoskrnl"

so i came across:

http://reboot.pro/5316/page__st__38

but i need:

ramdisk.sy_
AUTOCHK.EXE
SETUPLDR.BIN
of Windows 2003 SP1
where can i get it?(without that 300MB+ SP from Microsoft plzz)

I read the *.iso list files and noted that is the same as the SP2 .iso
can i use the grub4dos entry's too boot the .iso generated with http://vlaurie.com/c..._console_cd.zip ??
is their other files then http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994 ?? that i can download ?

Yes, that's the idea, i.e. NOT using the Server 2003 SP1 files BUT the firadisk driver.

If you use the "vlaurie" .iso you will have anyway to press the "R", AFAIK/AFAICR, to use the "cmdcons" bootsector trick you need to have a "super-floppy" or "hd-like" image:
http://reboot.pro/2362/page__st__4
Permanently modified or using the grub4dos "modify bootsector on the fly" trick:
http://reboot.pro/5316/page__st__61

JFYI, there are a few posts/threads by Sha0 where almost everything is re-capped/re-described and with some additional ways:

The creation of a suitable image is AFAIK explained in an EXTREMELY detailed way here:
