I'm keeping this topic open for discussion but keeping it outside of the front page to prevent panic on the masses. It might return to the front page one day but for now I think it would just cause more problems than bringing forth a productive conversation.
And now that we are off the record, I should explain that exists no real motivation in providing an "affordable" sale that someone can acquire. If someone really wants to give 300k for reboot then this would be fun and I'd go on retirement for the next 4 years, probably spend more time working on the projects that I enjoy coding, rather than just doing this on the weekends.
In reality there exist more pressing interests behind the scenes such as setting an anchor value for the advertising negotiations and gathering feedback from experienced webmasters with a high anchor price helps a lot. For example, thanks to this price we get the site fully audited, revealing the problem with http://test.reboot.pro where spammers were having a party and slurping away the server resources (besides the downgrade on our domain reputation).
Then, there are also tips from other people that just mention things they would improve and brought some interesting connections. For example, one of the recommendations was to drop Google Adsense and try Google Ad Exchange as publicity alternative to see how it works out.
As for new blood on the administration staff, I really mean it when I say that this is needed either sooner or later. I wish that indeed more of my free time could be spent coding than administering, just that.
