No. Firstly, it probably doesn't work on all PCs and secondly, Victor Chew doesn't want to use vesamenu.c32 (for a background picture) instead of the menu.c32 module for the menu either. In UBCD you have to load a lot of new menus, when you navigate through the menu. Each fancy drawing routine, will slow down the display of the menu.Did you consider using the new gfxboot?
