I try to find the tool so many times. It seems Sandisk using special chip/controller, I can't find anywhere the firmware tool for Sandisk Cruzer. Sandisk dont have that rite?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but such a tool seemingly does not exist.

Unlike most other manufacturers that assemble sticks that are programmable through the USB interface (simpler but obviously more exposed to tampering or accidental damage) SANDISK reportedly use a "proprietary" interface (a sort of JTAG) on the actual PCB (inaccessible without opening the stick case), see these photo here as an example:

https://nuxx.net/gal...m_cruzer_micro/

or much more visible in this other model:

Those largish, sometime squarish empty pads are supposed to be a sort of "direct access" (through unknown tools and protocols) to the USB sticl controller and firmware.

Some limited access may be obtained through USB (like maybe U3 replacement) but not all the features (unlike what most other manufacturer tools allow).

See also here (Russian, use google translate or similar):

Maybe they just renamed the controller (on the outside)

Try the chipgenius tool and post the report here

Naah, as said above, SANDISK's are different from other sticks. (unless it is a fake of course)

I would still be interested in the chipgenius report.  ^_^
