Hi Gents,

Server was unresponsive this week end : a hard reboot was required.

Then the web daemon was unresponsive : a soft reboot was required.

And finally this morning one table was crashed and required a reboot.

All should be back to normal for now.

Reboot.pro platform is an old lady and requires regular and delicate attention :)

Regards,

Erwan

An error occured with the SQL server:

mySQL query error: DELETE FROM ibf_search_sessions WHERE session_updated < 1599496896

This is not a problem with the IPS Community Suite but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above.

Same issue. Pls just send this to alacran and add me to the thread

Share VHD please? 1.5 GB Wimboot Win VHD

Could you share a ready (and of course, unlicensed) such VHD?

I'd like to play/ tinker with it before i go through all this process of making from scratch.

Edit: Also Notifications of new Posts is not working.

Forum is not working fine yet, when loading a new post it stays on same page forever, you have to manually roload or go to main page to verify if the post was loaded or not.

Also PM and Notifications are not working.  This is what i have noticed so far. Maybe other features I haven't tested are not working too.

Thanks Erwan for making reboot.pro forum alive again ....

The forum software is not yet working fully properly.

On posting and Liking then the site is not refreshed and the Reply edit window remains on screen instead of showing the topic with new added post.

About the forum coming back online, did not do much apart from warning Nuno this time :)

About the intermittent issues, i cannot put my finger on it this time.

For now, I simply restarted the php daemon.

Wait & see.

Cheers,

Erwan

Also from post: http://reboot.pro/to...on/#entry217005

since opening this topic I always get an "500 Server Error" when trying to post a new reply.

However, reply is created afterwards.

All this problems persist, it seems nothing has being done to fix them.

Please erwan.l take a look to this problems before they get worst.

Thanks in advance.

The forum software is like an old lady : there are good days and some less good days.

I take a look thus these days from time and perform very basic / lame actions like reboot the php daemon.

Like many of us out there I am locked down in my house and surprisingly (or not) I am even busier at work and have little time for my hobbies.

At some point in the future I will need to give a serious look at upgrading the software/server...

The issue when creating a new post and adding a picture to it is back again, I think it is better to fix this before it gets worse, thanks in advance.

EDIT: Same issues are back, as on: http://reboot.pro/to...e-3#entry217007

Nuno seems to be an absentee admin. He's the owner in name only, but someone else is doing the actual forum maintenance. If he's really not that interested in maintaining (due to real life issues or w/e), then perhaps he should name a successor and turn legal ownership over to them.

Plenty of other developers doing good stuff with boot disks. There isn't much else that can be done in regards to the board software itself.

Problems that weren't already addressed, they are difficult and simply won't be addressed by magic powers.

Not really a big problem. Board runs OK.

It's YOUR job to deal with the forum's technical issues. That responsibility shouldnt be delegated to others. You're a competent admin, yes? You DO know how to fix these issues, right?
