Dera, your search script works fine for me, in my current flavour of Win7PE_SE_2011_07_22.

in the latest package there is a 'log' subfolder containing some screenshot
and the scripts in 'z_own' folder structured into subfolders to keep the right sort order

Hello Dera, Hello Medevil ;)
Thanks Dera for your script :cheers:
Dera: Have you test the aero transparency with an other skin than Windows 7 aero orginal theme (Ex: Blue theme in ChrisR display script...) ?
Medevil: Have you test the new script of Dera ? Have you got the transparency ?

I have test; my result are bad :confused1: (With Intel graphic card, driver is installed; on admin account)
A user can test with a ATI graphic card ?

I search actually to enable Administrator in automatic logon (Start with WinPE)... I have find registry key, and a program:
http://www.logonexpe.../learnmore.html
If maybe perhaps someone can test with:
In
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
"AutoAdminlogon"="1"
"ForceAutoLogon"=dword:00000001
"DefaultUserName"="Administrator"

HKLM\Softwawre\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\AutologonCheck

With v3, i have transparency, wallpaper and are able to install drivers in the admin account.
Didn't test v3 with the dark blue theme.

With v2 default theme has transparencs, dark blue theme does not. Hence my question further above, if the dark blue theme even supports transparency.

According to our tests, startnet has to be run to enable network, before loging into another account becomes possible.

:confused1:

As far as i could find out, Win7 allows for only 1 style. Aero.
So it seems the missing transparency in the Dark Blue theme comes from the fact, that it isn't meant for Win7.
Anyone know better?

btw. What is the aero.org archive, in the script, for?

;)

I have looked for it and not found any other official msstyle than aero for Win7.

If Win7 would work like for instance XP, there would be no need to call the Dark blue style also aero and overwrite the original one.

Anyway, discussion pretty pointless unless someone can say if the dark blue style supports transparency in Win7, PE or otherwise.

;)

Good result Posted Image Aero transparency enabled with a intel graphic card in admin mode

Capture released see below

I have test with other skin (Luna, Mac & Blue dark Theme): No success, no transparency. Theme become a classic theme...

Reg registry to change, if maybe somebody can test...

How do you capture registry before aero? Win7PE boots right into it. So it's running way before i can even start Regshot. :cheers:
