Multi Win7PE’s and Winbuilder ----MY .02 cents
Multi 7PEs, Support Vista 2K8 Win7 all, ….By Yahoouk (Good Project)
Which can be currently downloaded in Winbuilder. Most users become frustrated at have to gather tools and when tools were gathered default settings caused build to reboot. Reboot is an easy fix with default shell settings that I have explained, and I asked this to be fixed in downloaded version.
I think that because of lack of tools and default setting this project never had a lot of support or never really caught on!
- Do you remember Yahoo offered an updated package too?
Multi 7Pe’s had been Continued, By JFX or now ..was JFX (Good Project)
This project is based on Yahoo’s MultiPE’s a lot of time and sleepless nights went into this project. Then the rules were changed. More Apps could be used and it is more users friendly, It WAS work in progress, with many different updated packages offered, can be currently be downloaded in first post of topic.
Ludovici Win7 package is based on was..JFX’s Multi 7PE’s Continued, and offers Objectdock, Picasa3, splayer, new features and service script, some of which is based on work of Vvurat, wimbe and many others. (Good Project) lots of options here with sound, control panel ,, to many to list, some scripts worked better with Vista builds or (X86)
Some people bitched about update/packages that included tools. I always thought that after a project worked out, and was ready to be a download IN Winbuilder that tools should be considered. How could testing be done with different tools?
Some changes to Winbuilder its self had project developers rewriting work they had already done.
Multi 7 PE’s need to be tested with every OS it supports. This was work, ok lets just start with just Win7 and Vista, a few people tested x86 versions others did x64.
So right there is 4 Winbuilder builds that were supported in one project!!!!!
Lots of testing!!!! Ok now add SP versions of Vista.. remember
Multiple PEs includes
1. Vista SP-0, 1, 2 for 32 & 64bit
2. Windows server 2k8 SP-0 0,1,2 for 32bit & 64bit
3. Windows 7 for 32bit & 64bit
I also look forward to Max’s vista\win7 project.
I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who contributed to Multi Win7
