Here is the first trial to realize Wonko's vision:

Define your source CD
Click and get a working PE, independent from the source CD

With PE1 (XP based) until now this "one Click" has been possible only for some (western) source CD languages.

The new project "nativeEx_easyPE" understands unicode in the source CD and transfers it to the PE.

For test I only have had a russian XP SP3 CD (thanks to a friend who sent me, but does not want to be named here).

The result:

easyPE.gif

May I ask other members to try with Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, etc. and tell the results here?

Many thanks.

Peter

I tested with Korean XP SP3 CD.

Some eerrors occurred.

That is th problem where the font is located.

In Korean XP CD, Some fonts are present in a different location.(i386\LANG).

And the errors associated with the font registry still exist.

But the registry seems to be ignored and not written.

I have linked the log file here.

Hi Peter,

Sorry, but I cannot understand what's going on. Who on earth is mobbing you? Only you and Zerojinny have been participating in this thread?

Can you explain?

Thanks,
Galapo.

Try this:
http://nativeex.exec...eEx_multiPE.zip

I'm currently in reorganizing. Therefore I'm not sure whether the download is ok.

If there are some troubles, I can fix next week.

Pippi (pscEX in vacation)

What happened to pscEX? Who mobbed him?

I did put this issue into my "Write Only Memory", so no remembering at the time.
If you are really curious, Google in Winbuilder related forums for e.g. 'Nazi behaviour'.

But I changed my work from "developing what everbody can use" to "developing what I like. Maybe somebody can use it, too".
Of course, on questions/help, I'm still available.

Is he the developper of nativeEx_multiPE?

Yes, I'm the developer of nativeEx_multiPE.

But this project is only a stage on the way to the multiPE project-

It is no longer supported (I hope that all existing nativeEx_multiPE projects run 'out of the box')

For more inforfamtion about 'how continue' see here: http://reboot.pro/16...post__p__147855
