Is there anyway to run starwind on non server OS?

I started to use starwind on XP and nowadays use it with Windows 7.
You dont need a server OS.
An old "how to install Win7 to an iSCSI target" here.
EDIT : I took a look at the web site and indeed it states "turns a windows server into ...".
Googling around, it appears the setup also runs on windows 7.
