Yes, it depends on the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package, and if you didn't install the 2005/2008 script and .net(Fix included) you will get that error.
However you shouldn't have to use it anymore as it should just start now.
I have seen that it sometimes dosn't anyway. :thumbup: And found that the build pc had waik for vista installed, removed waik (or install waik win7 instead) and all was OK. :dubbio:

@NewBSOD:
Thx. My WAIK ist ok. It is Win7 WAIK.
What C++ und .NET Script you are using? I have some different and no one werks perfekt for me. I will give your Scripts a chance. Maybe some other bugs will go, too.

Audio v7.script when used with
Realtek Audio Drivers.script
Windows Seven Services.script. (only Audio selected)

I have sound with YouTube in IE8

Right clicking Speaker opens Sound Mixer
Speakers Properties - Advanced - plays test sound
Applications – Sounds - I can select and play any selected windows sound listed

I have better luck when using your Audio 7 script when I include the Win Seven Service script..

Thanks for the updates,

@TJungmann

I use Win7PE_SE Release from ChrisR with default scripts and then add audio script.
I also have the IE8 script I added in this thread.
Edit, and useing Explorer ås shell.

Useing retail x86 win7 as source. (Also testd with x64, but then you need another directX script)

@PaPeuser
The service script, you only need it now with v7 ?

I use only Audio v7.script with Win7Pe_Se and default script.
I use also Realtek.script, VLC and an another directX script for x64, and I don't use Windows Seven Services.script

All works for me, sound in YouTube (opera +flash) and in VLC (try in vmware x86/x64 and USB boot x86/x64).

@NewBSOD
Loading realtek driver (hda*.inf) adds 10 Mb in driverstore. The choice to load them at startup or Not?

@ChrisR
If you feel it works better then do it :thumbup:

@PaPeuser
NP, easy to lose track of every change, especially so much testing you do :dubbio:
Just happy all is working OK :thumbup:

NewBSOD, are there any known interrelations with other scripts from the Drivers section?

I ticked Audio v.14 (of course), Auto Driver Import W7 v.5 (by amalux), Original display drivers v.2 (selected for Nvidia display drivers) and Realtek HD Audio v.1 in my test built. Before adding Realtek HD Audio, screen resolution settings worked automatically, now I have to manually activate the Auto Driver Import W7 shortcut to recognize the drivers in the specific subfolder... :dubbio:
Not easy to narrow down the problem...
