Hi again, in Tutorial #9 say "(optional) - Click on the Create Ext2 FS button and create a file called casper-rw of at least 1000MB (as large as you have space for). This will create a mountable volume for persistent changes.", but I can't found this button to create the file casper-rw. Can you help me?

Thanks a lot

Hi again.

I downloaded Parted Magic, but it is version 2012_06_07. Can I only rename pmagic-4.11.iso entry in menu.lst whith pmagic_2012_06_07.iso?

Original:

title Parted Magic 4.11\nThe Parted Magic OS employs core programs of GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful programs (e.g. Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc...)

fallback 7

find --set-root /pmagic-4.11.iso

map /pmagic-4.11.iso (0xff) || map --mem /pmagic-4.11.iso (0xff)

map --hook

chainloader (0xff)

savedefault --wait=2

New:

title Parted Magic 2012_06_07\nThe Parted Magic OS employs core programs of GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful programs (e.g. Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc...)

fallback 7

find --set-root /pmagic_2012_06_07.iso

map /pmagic_2012_06_07.iso (0xff) || map --mem /pmagic_2012_06_07.iso (0xff)

map --hook

chainloader (0xff)

savedefault --wait=2

Or I need something more?

Thanks :-)

There is a search box on my site. Look in Tutorial #21 examples. This works for me (tested just now).
title pmagic_2012_06_07.iso
#name must be in pmagic-x_y_z.iso format or will not find sqfs file
find --set-root /pmagic_2012_06_07.iso
map --heads=0 --sectors-per-track=0 /pmagic_2012_06_07.iso (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
chainloader (0xff)

I cannot find exactly the versions described in the tutorial and for Macrium i dont find .iso. What solution could be?

Can somebody offers an image after an existing USB drive? Most of described versions is missing from the internet, in this momment existing new versions (not always good ones).

Also koon-boot i think is modified one...

I thank every one who made All in one USB possible. I really find this website and project very beneficial and it will many Techs, professionals and people. Some of the files can not be downloaded from the links provided, I am trying to get MI2USB.rar but it seems i can't find it anywhere, can anyone provide a direct working link please!!

Thanks,

Same here, its been over 24 hours since I attempted to download anything from mediafire... Still says "directory empty".

I did manage to find a copy of the tut here:
http://www.scribd.co...SB-2nd-Edition# (no download though unless you are a subscriber)
A few of the other apps required some searching execpt for MI2USB.rar, still cant find a copy. Seems this is a rar with custom content unique to the tutorial.

Hola Dagonas

Does Tutorial #9 help you? You can't do it from an ISO (at least I couldn't!), you must extract the files...

and with the ultraiso? you must be open the ISO, drop the new ISO that you want, and modify the menu.lst.. I guess
