This very rarely occurs at my system, too.

I did not find any reason in the WinBuilder source code right now.

But I have the experience:
Just click ok and continue.

The resulting PE run well in all cases I had until now.

The 7b seems to be a different issue (Usually a missing driver).

Did you put the ISO onto the USB and started by grub4dos?

That does not work with XP sources.

HEY IT WORKS

I use this drivers selection:


and for booting i use PeToUSB with the settings shown


missing :
no network (hardware not found in this build)
no audio
no SP3
no hotfix
no maintenance prog

How to add drivers to LiveXP:
***Method1 - Using Ethernet Drivers you already have:
in penetwork settings with some 'intelligence' , there is "add drivers from this directory" section, where you can add your (or a set of) ethernet drivers.
Just click "explore" button on the screen (Follow Red arrows on picture), this will open windows explorer in the specified folder, put your driver in this folder.

****This is made specially for ethernet (nic) drivers but reported that works with many drivers too . User responsible for test results, Author of penetwork only concentrates on nic drivers. To use with none-nic drivers enable the checkbox "Copy driver files for all found device classes not only Net-class" (Follow Big arrows on picture)****

no audio

well you need to make a audio driver script for that.
BUT, most prefered way is using Driver Import PE or Driver Import PE AE (Amalux Edition), check around for more info .

no SP3

you need to make your source cd sp3 by slipstreaming

Slipstream: (I dont Have xpsp3, xpsp2 as source but have xpsp1 or xpsp0):
DO NOT USE nlite etc. utility, FOLLOW M$'s way to slipstream:

How to obtain XPsp3 source from XPSP0 or XPSP1 or XPSP3 source CD:
copy your cd to c:\xpsp3
download WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe (assuming your xp cd is english)
put WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe to C:\temp
open command line in temp and write
WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe -s:c:\xpsp3

* sp file name used assuming your source cd is english, if your source cd is another language, download the right sp file for your source cd language.

no hotfix

there are some hotfixes you can make by scripts at
"LiveXP\Components\Core\2 Update"
also some other scripts also ask you for some additonal files that can be called as hotfix...

no maintenance prog

LiveXP Recommended, with default settings, have some maintance programs.
If you download LiveXP Complete, you will get looooots of maintance programs.

Thank for your guidelines, ill do that (I already guess about audio drivers )
but right now its time for real life (much harder ) tasks, I mean administrative ones
