At this point I normally say 7 of diamonds as I try to guess the card in your hand.
Or you must define your problem: My Crystal ball is hazy at the moment, for anyone to help you, you have to describe
computer i.e not several laptops but say Dell whatever
operating system whatever, whatever
and what you have done, ie installed so and so and tried whatever,

My specs: Vaio VPCEH Windows 7 64 bit, 4 gb ram, 8gb flash drive, 4gb of memory. I have done what you said by adding the settings suggested by you in to my custom folder that runs grub4dos in UBCD. As for Dr.Web and Acronis, I can confirm that I can boot the CD version of it and the keyboard will work but the mouse won't run. I also can confirm that Acronis and Dr. Web won't run during being boot of the USB. The latest version available of sardu and dr. webwas used and the suggested acronis iso was also used.

kernel /casper/vmlinuz vga=791 boot=casper quiet
Where casper is the folder, that is, in my case, located on a partition (hd0,1) on a sd card, the card boots from (hd0,0) with menu.lst and grldr there, the mbr is G4D as outlined by RMPrepusb or MudCrab find the method somewhere, the folder (casper) contains all its files copied from a bootable cd. No other files were copied from the cd.
Post your menu.lst for this.

I get this "
Line 217 Can't open /scripts/acronisrescuecd/casper
[17.172306] Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!"
Here is my menu.lst file.

kernel /casper/vmlinuz vga=791 boot=casper quiet
initrd=/casper/initrd.gz
mmmmm I thought mine said this ....oops, Yes it does, just had a peek using explorer.
I guess this must mean my folder 'casper' resides at root on my USB and is buried in another folder on yours.
Edit: Typo

Try Avira
Download the cd .iso here
http://www.avira.com...r-rescue-system
Extract or burn and copy these folders to root of usb, antivir, system and avupdate.
Create a new folder on usb named Avira extract or copy whichever your doing, vmlinz and initrd.gz to this folder.
In avupdate/windows find updatergui.exe and create a shortcut at root
add this to you menu.lst
title AviranAvira
find --set-root /Avira/vmlinuz
kernel /Avira/vmlinuz vga=ask boot=2 ramdisk_size=133551 root=/dev/ram0 rw console=/dev/vc/4
initrd /Avira/initrd.gz
before you reboot click on your shorcut for updatergui this will update your .vdf (virus definition files) on your usb do this whenever you want .

Try to burn the ISO. If don't works fine isn't a problem of SARDU.

I'll burn avira to a disk and see what it does. As for another mouse, I'll try it tomorrow morning or afternoon as my dad is using his computer with another mouse (wireless logitec)
Excuse me but you wrote of a problem wit Acronis, I missed something?
Try to burn acroinis and let me know
