Hi 'Pauly'.....
Thanks for updating awesome Bootice to v.1.3.3 .
Request-
Please add the " 0 - Reorder Function " to 'BOOTICE Command line' similar to 'RMPARTUSB Command line' .
I mean please provide 'BOOTICE Command line' Syntax equivalent to following 'RMPARTUSB Command line' Syntax.
RMPARTUSB FIND > drv.cmd

Hi 'Pauly'.....
Thanks for updating awesome Bootice to v.1.3.3 .
Request-
Please add the " 0 - reorder function " to BOOTICE Command line similar to "RMPARTUSB.exe" .
We will be lucky if we got English edition of Bootice when next version came. "Pauly" seems to abandon his English site and now publish his tools "Bootice" and "Xorboot" only on Chinese sites. Chinese developers usually prefers to code their tools only in Chinese language and "Bootice" and "Grub4dos" are one of the very few Chinese software which has English ports ( i have seen lots of great utilities on various Chinese sites but almost all of them are useless without knowing Chinese ) . I hope that Pauly will not change his mind and continues to release English versions of his great tools - and of course provide us proper official download links.

Could you also upload the latest version of XORBOOT? Is the C in the XoRBootC.rar stands for Chinese only or does it also contain English dialogs?
Thanks.

Hello all and thanks for yr sharings. ..just been reading this thread. i introduced myself to BootIce couple months ago and have 2 questions.
Note: @Pauly, yr app is so clean and smoothe that someone like me has even tried it! I may have heard about it from Gibson's GRC site or a RyanVM/Siginet forum post. i really don't know squat so please forgive me the intrusion of both my ignorance and resulting current overwhelmed mental incapacity to retain accurately some of the most simple bits of info i've been gleaning here.
[relevant drive info at bottom of my post]
1) Can BootIce be used to rewrite via its templates either or both the PBR and MBR on a storage-only drive without trashing the drive's data partitions or those partitions' data? I don't have the knowledge to do it via manually editing sectors/bytes. It sounds like the answer could be Yes, especially after reading one of yr contributers saying the 'worst that could happen ..if you replace too many bytes..is you'll get about 63 that do what you want and then harmless empty sectors after.'
2) Can I change back the sector size without losing data or partitions? [see ** below]. That's because: Maybe someone here has a guess about why, after using BootIce on a drive a month ago and accidentally commtting a change, but i don't know what it was, the drive's partitions, data and even size are only recognized in XPsp3 (eg explorer, diskmgr says 'unassigned space', bootice, easeus, etc) IF the drive is connected to internal sata port. [As usb via an external sata-to-usb adapter with external ac power, the system shows a random small size drive; as an internal sata, the drive shows accurately as a 1 tb drive in 3 NTFS (1primary+2logical) partitions. I have another identical 1 tb WD SATAIII data-only drive with the same scheme (both drives were done up in Easeus months ago using identical options) that shows up accurately whether connected internally or as usb. Currently, ported so that both are usable (the problem drive ported to internal SATA), in BootIce's Partition Mgmt window both drives show identical data for Drive No., ID, Active-no, Hidden-no, FileSys, and 1st partition Starting LBA. Also same bits for 0000:00->0F are listed in Sector Edit]
**2) cont'd, for anyone still reading (thank you): i just discovered this difference btwn the 2 drives:
The problem drive, H-I-J: 512 sector size, 1953525168 total sectors.
The stable drive, E-F-G: 4096 sector size, 244190646 total sectors. I'd prefer even a 64k cluster for both drives actually but they do have lots of small files, too.
Muchisimas gracias for any answers!! [sorry this is not more succinct]
