Well, EVERY new user of the tool has reported this error AND - WITHOUT searching first the board - has started a new thread about the
Could not load file or assembly 'PGK.Extensions
error.
See:
http://reboot.pro/to...ith-win-xp-erd/
Welcome to the board, BTW .

Thanks Wonko, but this is not the same error, this is with a Linux Live-CD not Windows XP, not Live USB, and this is only if I press the cancel button (or forget to delete the spare ISO files).
Also that topic has also already been covered a number of times http://reboot.pro/9740/
I have read the before posting bugs sticky and searched and for these specific issue(s) there is not a thread I could find.
Thanks for the welcome though

XBoot is no longer under development as the author Shamur sadly passed away.
Why not try my latest project Easy2Boot V1 BETA. (shameless plug!)
It is mainly for USB flash drives (as Windows Install ISOs will not work if USB HDD).
All you have to do is copy your ISOs to it and it should work.
For non-ISO files, you need a .mnu file as well as the payload file (downloadable from the website).
It is not version dependent and so there should be no maintenance issues with new linux releases coming out every 5 minutes - all should just work!

Hi Sorry to hear about his passing, my condolences to all that knew the Dev and felt a connection. But I just took a look at the post saying he dies on July 21st then on his profile it says last active July 23rd 2011...

Well, I would rather remove the error about a missing package, and then try again.
I presume that your issue is not entirely unlike these ones:
http://reboot.pro/to...uest-save-list/
http://reboot.pro/to...mu/#entry142351
My (wild) guess is that you are unknowingly turning a "feature" (at least in the Author's opinion) into an issue.
From what I can understand, possibly the original idea is that a "source" .iso (residing "outside" the tool directory structure) is duplicated into it.

Hi Wonoko,
Not to be rude, but none of your responses have helped at all, and none of them seem based on my original or follow up posts. I have loaded the exe into a debugger and it is just a series of IOExceptions that are not encased in a try, catch statement, problem solved, but unfortunately the dev is not here any more, so can someone just close the thread.

I am not getting it.
You asked about two issues:
You were given an answer on how to solve the first one (or at least you were given the same answer that has solved that same issue for at least tens of users), and it was suggested to you that the "dupicating" of the .iso's is seemingly (see the referenced posts) by design (as said as a wild guess)
So, AT LEAST the 50% of my posts should have helped you (at least issue #1 should have been solved), and since the two posts contained only a single definite answer, I would go further stating that 100% of answers were helpful.
