Yep, http is the wrong protocol!Anything else????
Peter
Don't have time right now, but will check later what the protocol is called, if you can't find it yourself.

Thats a good tip. We might have to have a tipe section on the PE Network Manager.TheHive: try using this path on your explorer
\\minint\c$
There should be a way for the user to tell which is hidden and which are not. Something visual. Those shares are hidden, this way you might be able to acess them.

This could be another reason it would be good to not have to force the user for password and username before starting the sharing service within the PE.That's not a bug of Holgers script. That's a XP bug!
There's a way to make XP ask everytime and allow you to enter data, but can't remember how, right now.
XP thinks it has already the login data, so no reason to allow you to reenter them.

Before you get $ happy and use it everywhere, i have to warn you, only Admins have access to those folders, as far as i know.I using Windows XP Pro.
The word was suppose to be tip's not tipe. And the idea to put a ? mark in the upper section is good.
Not everyone knows the $ is used to make things invisible.

Same results. I think the ShellWM is not working properly because it was changed somehow from the original that Ove created. It might need to be disabled untill its updated so it wont cause trouble.Addidtional info: I did a test without "ShellWM" and minimizing seems to work correctly...will take a look again...

I see it but its not fully working here. Is it suppose to also do something when browsing using a webbrowser. Or is it suppose to show something when transfering stuff in the Workgroup Shares.Added: simple connection activity in tray
Well implemented.Added: small icon in shares list for reflecting hidden/normal visible shares

Normal, cause like the first info window said (will change the msg a little bit)....One glitch is that now on the Real PC I get asked for a username and Password...
