@maanu: I remember something...
Did you enable the screensaver in the DisplaySettings-script?
If yes: what did you choose.
Maybe there is something missing in the source.

It works great! Very good work!!! ;)

Hi holger

when dynamic ip selected (which is also default) file sharing is enabled and on all drives !
but this is not the setting on script,
With LiveXP test (wb076, source xpsp2enu):
LM\Software\PENetwork\ , ShareAll and StartSharing values are 0
PENETWORK.INI, under [Dynamic IP Address] section Startsharing and ShareAll values are =YES

Can we also have "Profile Selection countdown" as a script option ;)
Also an idea:
I feel 10+10 seconds are too long,
'"Startup countdown" "5"' , '"Profile Sel countdown" "5"' maybe better !

;)

All this is by design.
10 sec. were not much and not to less for me.
Maybe I used it the most time to test/check something...don't remember why 10 seconds.
5 sec. could be a good default.
The file sharing options in the script will be overwritten by the options in the profile (I think I will put a small note in the script).
Yeah, for the 'internal' ini the I will set it to defaults (nothing).
Cause I'm updating the stuff right now I will include this.

@Filip: no problem, I will put it also in the source zip file.

@JFX: fixed it already in the next PENM-version (the file "rsaenh.dll" must be registered after installing wireless zero service and before starting it).
Also you need a FBWF-plugin - did some tests yesterday with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK-routerconfig.
The last weeks I had not much time to work again on the DeviceIOCtrl-functions (maybe with that I could put the keys into another place...)

Next update lately tomorrow...

Thanks and greets

Filesharing doesn't work with PENetwork at the moment under VistaPE/Win7PE.
One of the things why I call it still beta

Small update - 15.07.2009 (v37 - PENM 0.54):
- Changed: Internal handling of .icl-file - now it's possible to use own "PENetwork.icl"/icon file (for now it has
to be copied manually to the system32 dir)
- Changed: Default ini values with file sharing set to off and profile timer to 5 sec
- Added: Registering of "rsaenh.dll" after WiFi service installing to connect to
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK networks (BootSDI-option or addtional FBWF-plugin/script is still needed - PE root must be writable)
- Added: "PENetwork.icl" to source zip

For now I'm working on merging the two versions (LiveXP & VPE/W7PE) together.

well fbwf plugin is only needed to have a writeable root ? i mean if we have bootsdi already , we dont need fbwf then ?

Thanks for info.
Yes, if you are using the 'BootSDI-option' then it's also possible to use WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK (added the info to the posting)

Goot work Holger! Script autoupdate don't work properly - it downloads newest version (7z file) but do not put its content do target... I have to modify iso manually.
Additionally it detects my intel 3945abg, but it states that this isn't wireless adapter... When I try to manually start service WLANSVC I get: "Error 1747 Authentication service is unknown".
See logs attached.

Hello Holger,

I would like to speak German, but I guess we have to speak English here.
Ok lets try:
I downloaded your last version [PENetwork] Version=54
It works nice (bevore i had Problems to map a networkdrive on another computer. so i had to use the net use command:
"net use x: \\p7300win7\lw_e" in my case.

now in Version=54 is this problem solved.

But there is a little new problen.
i have to use another workgroup, computername and profile.
When i start the winbuiler version "wb76hf.exe" downloaded from http://amalux.winbui...p?dir=Portable/
lxppAcxu.
The winBuitler shows me under XP Live CD, Apps, Internet, PENetwork "Network Settings and Support (v37)" ?
under Network Profiles (Start Editor) i can edit the identify
Computername and Workgroup and save it.
Also I can edit in Network Drives Network path, Remote path, Usernname, Password and Drive letter. and save it.

But when i create "LiveXP_RAM.iso" without any errors burn a DVD start the Live XP from DVD works fine.
But i can´t find my saved "Identify" Computer Name and Workgroup also i can´t find my saved Profile.
when i search for PEnetwork in Ramdrive X:
I can find "PENetwork.ini" in X:\I386\system32
date is 14.07.2009 18:45 (i guess it`s your original "PENetwork.ini"
But where is my PENetwork.ini with i have edit and saved when i create my LiveXP_RAM.iso build ??
Thank you for help.

I will have a look.
But now it was a work to write this english.
waitig for help.

may be this post is my Problem ? I use WinBuilder 076

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING
LiveXP Users MUST NOT use a winbuilder version prior to wb077rc2

Reason also written on http://winbuilder.ne...rface.htmlQUOTE If you change a script containing WB 077 features with WinBuilder 076 or lower, the features are lost!you can also find some old rc test bug reports on boot-land pointing to this.

Hi new_user,
;) ;)

simple answer is NO, holger script does not use new interface features. You can use penetwork.script both with wb076 and wb077rc2.

Besides If you update your LiveXP today (by clicking download button at top-right), only use wb077rc2 with LiveXP ;)

Try to give some answers...

@voyteckst: please take a look if the "kerberos.dll" is in the system32-directory.
I think you use Win7PE - right?
Cause of the current changes every few days weeks there are some dlls missing for now...
I'm working on an update next days cause I'm back at home again.

@new_user: please post your winbuilder-log-html file here so I can take a look whats going on.

Thanks and greets
Holger

No there isn't. I will put it to this directory (with dependencies if needed) and give feedback later today.

Edit: I have added kerberos.dll do system32 (all depnedencies were already in place), but it doesn't help...

Please make a small dir list of the target system32 - directory and maybe then I can tell you what other files are still missing.
Or here is a list of files I add to system32 (only now on my local updated script) if the project is Win7PE:
browser.dll
eappcfg.dll
eappprxy.dll
eapsvc.dll
hnetcfg.dll
icmp.dll
ikeext.dll
kerberos.dll
l2gpstore.dll
lanman.drv
msafd.dll
msxml6.dll
msxml6r.dll
ncsi.dll
netman.dll
netprof.dll
netplwiz.dll
nlaapi.dll
nlasvc.dll
ntshrui.dll
onex.dll
samsrv.dll
sens.dll
shrpubw.exe
srvsvc.dll
sscore.dll
webio.dll
winhttp.dll
WinSCard.dll
wlaninst.dll
wlanutil.dll
wlgpclnt.dll
wmi.dll
wmilib.dll
xactsrv.dll

Maybe some other of these files are still missing.

See attached files. I was missing only few:
hnetcfg.dll (I did regsvr32 on it)
icmp.dll
ikeext.dll
kerberos.dll

I did not found last two files from Your list.

Still cannot start this service. I have checked service dependencies, and:
- WLNSVC depends on Extensible Authentication Protocol service (which is not started)
- Extensible Authentication Protocol depends on "CNG Key Isolation" service which is not existent.
