PE Builder v3 plugin

Boot Screen

To import a BootScreen use Resource Hacker.
Create NTOSKRNL.EXE from System CD (expand ntoskrnl.ex_ ntoskrnl.exe).
Put the file into the plugin\BootScr folder.

Start Resource Hacker and open NTOSKRNL.EXE, click
Action > replace Bitmap > under select bitmap to replace click 1 >
Open the file with new bitmap > take plugin\BootScr\NTNL1.bmp > replace
Action > replace Bitmap > under select bitmap to replace click 8>
Open the file with new bitmap > take plugin\BootScr\NTNL8.bmp > replace >
File > Save

Start pebuilder and build the iso.

To change and edit NTNL1.bmp and NTNL8.bmp use for instance Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Start PS7 and open NTNL1.bmp.

If you have a black pic, then click Image > Mode > Color Table...> Load >
Use plugin\BootScr\16.act > load > OK

Make changes

Click Files
> Save as > NTNL1.bmp (Windows 4 bit no compression).
The same to NTNL8.bmp (ProgressPrompt).
